About
Winchelsea Veterinary Hospital

Winchelsea Veterinary Hospital was a dream of former local girl Candice Taylor (now Lafranchi) whom grew up in the town. Candice left in early 2003 to move to Melbourne and pursue her dream to become a qualified veterinarian. Candice has over 10 years of experience in small animals and is also interested in a variety of exotic species and large animals. Candice and her husband Aaron are proud owners of the practice and are excited to finally see their dream become a reality. The pair opened their first practise in Cockatoo Victoria (located in Dandenong Ranges) only 8 months prior to opening WVH in April 2020. Winchelsea Veterinary Hospital is a mixed practice and aims to tend to all animals great and small. We pride ourselves on not only our small animal skills but also attending to large animal call outs when required and welcome exotic and pocket pets also.

Winchelsea Veterinary Hospital holds the latest equipment including digital radiology, ultrasound, superior IM3 dental suite, IDEXX blood machines and the latest monitoring equipment to ensure every animal receives the best of care. We also have a large animal call out vehicle and offer a full grooming service.
